This is awesome information…Thanks for sharing
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware found Any Drive Formatter as contaminated with a Trojan. Cleaned and then uninstalled! Watch it!
Many of the tools which modify system files are mostly mentioned as malwares by this so called Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. I have had multiple experiences. So its up to the users to decide whether to install or not. BTW CNet and Softpedia, the two most popular software websites mention this tool as free from malwares, I dont say they are 100% correct, but can be taken as a yard stick to an extend.
The thing is that “Any Drive Formatter” couldn’t and cannot appear as a malware since the majority of antiviruses cannot detect warms and Trojans and on the other hand few people already have and will ever install an anti-malware until they really need it, until any suspect computer behavior arise. This is the case with Any Drive Formatter that cannot be detected as malevolent since none of the free versions of: Avast Antivirus 6 or 7 free versions and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free edition can detect. The Avast Antivirus 6 or 7 free versions doesn’t include an anti-malware module and the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free edition cannot detect either in real time any malware since it doesn’t run as a service so to be able to track down malwares in real time. That is done only to its commercial counterpart Malwarebytes Anti-Malware PRO!
These above mentioned are the reasons that most of the people don’t report any problem with Any Drive Formater and that you as well believe that that application itself is wrongly interpreted as a malware just for that simple reason that is so call “modify system files”. Shouldn’t you fall into one of these situations will never report such application as a malware one and moreover this is why most of the manufacturers counts on!
