Grooveshark is a popular online music streaming site with millions of tracks uploaded by its users. We have previously covered SciLor’s grooveshark Downloader and also GrooveDown which lets you download songs from Grooveshark. Groovejaar is yet another portable freeware tool for downloading songs from Grooveshark. The app is Java based tool and hence Java runtime it required on your Windows for executing this tool.
You can either search for a song or an artist using the default search box or use the tools menu to get the top songs, or songs from a playlist or an album. Using the settings, you can select the maximum simultaneous downloads, 2 by default.
The search result has a download button against each song and you can click on it to start the download process. Once you start downloading, you can monitor the percentage complete from the download list.

I got it to convert some files and other stuff, but since it also works to save grooveshark streaming to mp3 tracks I said why not make use of it, some fresh music is always welcomed.
