Windows 8 has one major change in terms of the UI, with a brand new theme without the aero effects present in Windows 7. Windows 8 is slated for release in October this year and users can upgrade it. One of the changes to the UI is the way Windows explorer and other application window shows up in the theme. Unlike Windows 7, there is a huge border around all the application window and also in Windows explorer. The border is around 3px or more in size, but you can now easily reduce it using the freeware app Tiny Windows Borders.
You can move the slider to left if you want to disable huge windows borders in Windows 8, or set any border size from 1 to 10px as you like
The application is portable and easy to use on Windows 8.
