File Dropper is the new service for sharing large files online. The service is pretty simple as there is no account creation. All you need to chose the file and upload and share the link to your friends. You can upload upto 5GB file size. There is no control of the file you upload and you cannot delete the file. Further there is no encryption options available. You can upload a file from another url and also from your computer.
One disappointing thing is that there is no progress bar for the files being uploaded. In case you are uploading large files, you never know how much time its going to take. Further there is no mention about how long the files will be available for download after uploading. With lot of big players in this area, it will be difficult for File Dropper to stay in league unless there are some unique features.

Theres been lot of these sites recently with foldershare and dropbox
This is great.
It will be a nice time for movie releasers and the like. 😛
But, still, RS is the favourite file hoster, since many stuff is hosted there and people want RS premium accounts. For this, they upload popular files and try to earn points to get those points converted to premium accounts..
🙂
No progress bar? That should be the biggest drawback of this tool, imo.
You have also another service named Nextsend on http://www.nextsend.com/ . Very serious and professionnal 😉
