Hidetext.net is a free web application which lets you convert text to an image. This means you can hide passwords, personal messages, pieces of code, or any kind of private information on forums, blog posts, emails and chats. HideText will create an image of whatever text is being entered in the box. The created image can be linked to, or you can download the image and delete it directly from the server.
The purpose of using Hidetext is that many time we might want search engines to index some personal information from webpages, so its better that these information are available as images. another good thing about Hidetext is that they store the image on their server permanently as long as you access it at least once in a year.
There is no limit to the text being converted to image, the site claims that it has converted a complete book into image. The site also features an image creator for emails, all you need is to enter the email ID and select the email service you are using, the sire generates a nice looking email address image.
Hidetext is overall a good service is you do not want to index you private contents on search engines.
Hi Nirmal,
I don’t see this is a sustainable. It’s just way too easy to convert text to images using Irfanview or even Windows Paint and upload them yourself.
