If you are a Twitter user, then you must be knowing about various desktop Twitter clients. An addition to this is Chirp, which is a desktop Twitter client for Windows and has a great user interface. What makes Chirp different from other desktop twitter applications is that fact that it’s user interface is developed with the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). The application delivers a very rich Twitter experience, and is also less on system resources.
Some of the distinctive features of Chirp are;

- Scroll down to see unlimited tweets, as they load when you scroll down
- Shows the number of characters left for tweeting in very big letters behind the composing window
- See the complete conversations: Simply click the arrow before the username your tweet will flip in-place revealing the first part of your conversation.
Chirp is only available for download for Windows Vista and Windows 7 users.
