TSDC (Total Service and Driver Control) is a free utility for Windows clean up your Windows system from old or unneeded and unused services and drivers permanently. Whenever you add any hardware or internal devices, you need to install the drivers. These drivers remain in the system even if you are not using the hardware anymore. Some of these dead drivers might be causing problems with the OS and also cause it to crash many times.
With TSDC, you can remove all services and drivers which are not being used in your PC.
The utility does not require any installation and you can directly run the exe file. It will list all the services/drivers and you can start/stop services and remove drivers if not needed. In case you are not able to figure out a particular driver from the name, the details button might be able to help you.
The utility works well on Windows 2000, XP or Vista and might run even on Windows 7 as well (not tested). You will need administrative rights to run this application, so make sure to read the information provided by the tool when you start it up.
