It is always good to have a program which can monitor your computer for any failures. Smart Monitor is a simple, but very useful computer monitoring utility which can monitor a computer, its network and its hard drives for failure and pre-failure notices. Smart Monitor can also sent emails notifications to the users about the condition of your PC. There are 2 versions of Smart Monitor available- Standard and Enterprise and both are free versions.
Smart Monitor can configure the email settings automatically once you enter the notification email address. It can monitor service, GUIs and will send email alerts if a user is logged in or not. It can monitor CPU percentage available for any number of processors and cores and also monitors available RAM percentage.
It sends out an alarm if multiple thermal zones are detected. Apart from this it can monitor multiple fans available and its health, ping any connected network adapter gateways, detect network media disconnection or failure.
It also monitors S.M.A.R.T. disk drive attributes for multiple drives, alarms on drive manufacturer determined conditions. Apart from this, it also displays operating system version, 32 bit or 64 bit architecture, service pack and drive model and serial numbers.
The enterprise version has different other features and both the versions are available free of cost.
