winLAME is a freeware tool for encoding audio files. winLAME allows you to encode several audio formats, including mp3 (MPEG Layer 3), Ogg Vorbis and more. winLAME lets you set up the encoding process with an easy-to-use wizard-style user interface. You can either select files for encoding from CD or browse for the files from your PC. Once you have selected the files, you can select the output format and also the output location. There are quite a few options available in the convert menu.
Once the settings are entered, click on the play button to start encoding.
