UPDATE: One of our readers has pointed out that this could be a rogue software as MalwareBytes’ AntiMalware detected and destroyed this application.
AntispywarePlus is a powerful tool that can protect your PC from threats from spywares, adwares and trojans. AntispywarePlus is also equipped with a powerful and effective feature that is charged with detecting the presence of dangerous keyloggers which is another biggest threat of stealing passwords. This tool can scan browser cache, memory cache and other temporary data. AntispywarePlus contains within its features the ability to eliminate all types of registries, whether it be from browsing, or from programs that are used daily.
The interface is very simple and here you can add or remove any directories to scan. You can remove the infections detected using this tool from its interface itself.
It has ability to clean
- cookies.
- Cache.
- Temporary files.
- Browsing history and recently opened documents.
Sadly this tool is not yet supported on Windows 7, when we tried this application on Windows 7 we got Operating System Unsupported error. It is compatible with Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista.
Its a good software. it solves my problem of spyware….
Thanks very much
Be aware: this is a ROGUE/Scareware.
It attempts to install some adaware toolbars, modify IE settings and connect to remote server, it also download another spyware.
Its EULA is ridicoulous
MalwareBytes’ AntiMalware detected and destroyed it.
@leofelix,
We have updated the post with your observations, thanks for the updates.
Is it rogue software or is it not? I’ve uploaded latest installer-antispywareplus-en.exe to virustotal.com, the file had already been investigated, and the result is here: http://preview.tinyurl.com/yf6yrvn
Panda only detected nasty business…
Looks like it installs a Firefox extension, which in itself is not an indication of harm. I have no idea, but I admit I prefer to have a 0/41 detection status from virustotal.com
