Hey Nirmal, thanks for the tip!
However, that’s just file migration – does not really solve the problem of XP to 7…
A real solution I know of is Zinstall. It automatically moves files, settings, applications, everything from XP to 7. You can actually work on 7 as if nothing have changed.
You don’t have to do anything – it just works!
You can find it here:

What do you think?
You should look at this tool for smart mmigration

It’s in Hebrew but you can use Google Translation
@Rich
Umm…Zinstall is $89!!! Are you kidding me? Ninety bucks?!?!
I think I’ll try the free solution and just reinstall my apps.
Rick,
Reinstalling and reconfiguring takes at least a day. Alternatively, a tech costs $250 and half a day.
I think your vacation day is worth more than $89.
I know mine does.
@Rich
Thanks a lot for the tip Rich! It was just what i was looking for.
I bought Zinstall XP7 after reading the article and your comment and it fully migrated my old xp to Win7 – and everything keep working!
Cheers,
Michael
