Injured Pixels, which we covered on this blog, is a freeware tool to check if your LCD monitor has dead pixels. IsMyLcdOK is another small program but effective solution to easily check for dead/paralyzed/stuck pixels on LCD monitors. IsMyLcdOK does not require any sort of installation and can be executed easily from the desktop, and can be carried on a USB Drive or other memory device.
Once you run the application, you need to select the number keys to run each of the colors mentioned to see whether there is any dead pixels. There is also an option to do paint stress by pressing F2 key.
