Microsoft has released a System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 which will make sure that all future service packs, updates and software installations on Windows 7 will integrate hassle-free. With Windows 7 SP1 being in development stage and which could hit computer some time later this year, this tool could be useful to see if any update would cause issues.
This tool is being offered because an inconsistency was found in the Windows servicing store which may prevent the successful installation of future updates, service packs, and software. This tool checks your computer for such inconsistencies and tries to resolve issues if found.
This tool is available for download via Microsoft Downloads and is available for both 32 bit and 64 bit Windows 7.
You need to have a genuine Windows 7 to download and use this tool as it does genuine Windows check before downloading.
