Microsoft has made available a customized version of Internet Explorer8 which promises safer surfing for children. This latest version of custom IE8 release made available involves work from Microsoft and the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre. This version of IE8 has optimized user experience when it comes down to accessing safety advice over the web, so now your children can safely access web.
This custom build of IE8 will have some features which are not available in the default version of IE8 available for public download. Users of this new IE8 will be able to take advantage of the ‘Click CEOP’ button. It is designed to integrate seamlessly into the browser toolbar, the button will provide enhanced access to internet safety information for both children and parents using the browser.
The new CEOP-customized Internet Explorer 8 browser will embed advice, help and report services directly into the toolbar to provide a constant, reassuring presence for families who will be one click away from the support they need.
