There might be many instances where you want to save web pages for future use. But when you save a webpage, by default it is saved as HTML format with lots of files for images and scripts. Document Exporter is a freeware tool which can save web pages in PDF, XPS and other widely used formats right from Internet Explorer. It is a light-weight add-in for Internet Explorer that makes it very easy and effortless to generate PDF, XPS, DOC and other document formats right out of your favourite web pages.
Once installed, it adds options in the toolbar. You can save web pages as PDF, Doc, XPS, DocX, RTF and ODT format. There is also option to email the webpage. Apart from this, there is also option to save page from the context menu (right click menu) of IE.
It can preserves images and hyperlinks in the output. The email link can automatically forward the web page as a document with Outlook.
From the settings page, you can set the page properties and also specify if you want portrait mode or landscape mode. If you want to have the full features, you need to have IE7 or above version and Office 2007 installed.
