FeedSquares is a new extension for Google Chrome which brings in a totally new interface to Google Reader. If you are bored of seeing the default Google Reader interface, then FeedSquares should super charge your GReader interface. FeedSquares does not ask your Google Login details, but once you have logged into Google reader through Chrome and used the Stay signed in option, this extension should be able to fetch the feeds for you.
When you click on any feed, a horizontal bar appears in the bottom with scrolling to view the headlines for that particular blog.
Features;
- Show your Google Reader feeds in a beautiful feed wall
- Feed posts with image previews
- Synchronize read/star statuses with Google Reader
- Easily share articles to Google Buzz, Twitter and Facebook
- Auto-update your feeds in background
- Day/Night theme
The thumbnail images for the posts and for the blog seems to be slow while loading, but overall Feedsquares is worth a try on Chrome. There is also an Android version for this extension.
