Google has announced the availability of Fonts API and also Fonts directory. With Google Font Directory users can get high-quality web fonts that you can include in your pages using the Google Font API. Google Font API helps you add web fonts to any web page. The fonts in the directory are all released under open source licenses; you can use them on any non-commercial or commercial projects.

You can use these fonts on your website by writing just few lines of code. Currently there are only few fonts available in the directory, but you can freely use them and the font are served from Google servers.
