Bing has announced a new search feature where you can search for Twitter and Facebook updates. The new service called Bing Social, will show status updates and shared links from Facebook fan pages. In addition to Tweets, it will also search through Facebook fan page updates and surface matching results. You can search for any term in Bing Social and results are shown from Twitter and Facebook.
For non-fan pages, it only surfaces popular shared links from Facebook users in the aggregate form, and only from users who have set their status updates to be shared with “everyone.” The search results are updated in real time and you can even pause the results as shown in the image above.
Using the sidebar option, you can select from where results need to be shown. Currently it has Twitter and Facebook, we are having that there might be more social networks coming in later stage.
