Open Hardware Monitor is a freeware open source application that monitors your system hardware including temperature sensors, fan speeds, voltages, load and clock speeds of a computer. It supports most hardware monitoring chips found on present main boards like the ITE, Winbond and Fintek families. The CPU temperature can be monitored by reading the core temperature sensors of Intel and AMD processors.
It can also monitor ATI and NVIDIA video cards as well as SMART hard drive temperatures. The interface is pretty neat and also provides graphical representation of the temperature of various hardware.
Supported Hardware:
- CPU core sensors
- Intel Core 2, Core i3/i5/i7
- AMD K8 (0Fh family), K10 (10h family)
- Mainboard sensors
