UAC (User Account Control) is a safety feature introduced in Vista and carried on in Windows 7. It basically asks users when an application tries to change any system settings. So in case an application needs to run in administrator mode, it prompts for UAC. When you need to run this program frequently, it doesn’t make sense to ask the UAC prompt every time. UAC Trust Shortcut is simple freeware tool which creates a shortcut for any application on your desktop and these shortcuts will not prompt for UAC.
The advantage of this tool is that you can add all the programs trusted by you and which you run frequently and also the ones which ask for UAC. Once added you can run these programs from the desktop without any UAC prompt.
When you add any program to this list, make sure that you whitelist only trusted programs.
