Microsoft Security Essentials is a free anti-virus and anti malware tool from Microsoft. In case you are using MSE on your PC and messed up and settings on MSE, then you can now easily repair and restore the default settings. MSE Restore is a freeware tool which can quickly and easily repair Security Essentials and restore it back to original state. The purpose of this tool is to restore the registry and other settings of MSE.
MSE Restore tool needs administrator privileges to run. Once the application runs, just click on “Restore Microsoft Security Essentials Now” button and all the default settings are restored. The tool will also re-register the DLLs of MSE.
