Whenever you use the internet, there are lots of temporary files stored on your PC and these can simply waste space on your hard disk. Autodelete is a simple freeware tool which can automatically delete unwanted files from your PC. This program can automatically delete files in a specific folder that are older than the specified time. It checks the file dates by modification time. You can have it run on every Windows startup to delete old temp files, backups, webcam snapshots history, temporary internet files, etc.
You can add folders to the application and the application will delete files from these folders based on the requirement you have set. You can set files to be deleted after the specified number of days based on modified date, creation date, accessed date. You can either move these folders to trash or to any other specified folder.
As far as folder settings are concerned, the program keeps it simple and provides a little more than just the basic delete function. It also allows you to make settings for discerning between different file formats so that only a particular type of file gets eliminated, while the others remain untouched.
Autodelete and the application does exactly what it has been programmed to do: automatically empties user-defined locations.
