Setting your favorite video as desktop wallpaper is a nice way to enhance your desktop. Windows 7 (including Vista and XP) by default does not have an option to set videos as wallpaper, but you can easily do this with the freeware tool Video Wallpaper. It is simple utility which allows you to set your favorite video as wallpaper in Windows. Install the application, select the video and you can set the video as wallpaper.
This software comes with some limitations that is it uses windows media player as a playback system so if you don’t have codecs for video file then the software will fail, also in some cases you have codes then also it fails.
It is recommended that you install the codecs pack for using various formats as video. You can also mute the sound during video playback. In case you want to change the video, the application has a system tray icon from where you can change the video.
The application works with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
