One of the most common formats used for sharing documents is PDF, but PDF documents are more or less non editable unless you have a good PDF document editor. Boxoft PDF to Word is a freeware tool which allows you to convert PDF documents to Word format. You can batch convert portable PDFs to editable Word files with preserving the original formatting: text, images, column and row layout.
The program also provides Hot Directory Mode, which is something unique for a freeware app. What this mode does is to monitor a particular folder or directory and then automatically convert any new PDF files copied to this folder into word document format.
In this Hot Directory mode, any PDF files copied to or changed in your defined monitor folder, they will be convert to Word files immediately. We checked out the converted document alignment and formatting and found that the application did retain decent formatting, although there were some image alignment issues.
