Bookmarks in PDF files allows you to navigate to pages and websites easily from the document. JPDFDocument is a simple portable application written in Java which allows users to edit or create bookmarks in PDF files. In case your PDF does not have a bookmark, you can easily create them using this tool. JPdfBookmarks extends its services to letting you set more than one action per bookmark. Thus you can assign a page to be opened and at the same time launch a webpage or another PDF file.
You have the text in the right part of the application window and the list of bookmarks available displayed in a side panel, to the left. All the editing options for the bookmarks are also present in the left hand side of the screen, but you can access them from the context menu of any bookmark as well.
Bookmarks are handy for large PDFs with lots of pages, you can create bookmarks to point to a particular part of the page.
Apart from modifying the bookmarks of the document JPdfBookmarks brings all the basic functions for navigating through a document, including skipping to specific page or to the last/first one. Zooming in and out of a document is also present on the list.
