Facebook has been continuously improving on privacy and security and recently had introduced the OTP security feature. Now Facebook has introduced another feature of HTTP connection for all sessions of Facebook. If you use Facebook at public computers, coffee shops, libraries etc, then you should consider enabling this option. The option will exist as part of our advanced security features, which you can find in the "Account Security" section of the Account Settings page.

But one thing to note is that when you enable HTTPS connection, it might slow down Facebook and also many 3rd party apps wont be available in this connection. Facebook currently uses HTTPS whenever your password is sent to the servers, but now its also being used to help keep your data even more secure.
