Although Firefox comes with its default download manager to view and search the list of files downloaded using Firefox, it is very basic in nature. FirefoxDownloadsView is a neat portable freeware tool which will list out all the downloads done through Firefox. Unlike the built-in download manager of Firefox, this tool displays your download history in a list view that can be sorted by date, size, average download speed, referrer URL, file name and other details.
You can also export the list as xml/html/text/csv format. The value of ‘Average Speed’ column is calculated according to downloaded bytes and start/end download time. This calculated value might be distorted when the file size is very small or when the file was sent with gzip compression.
This utility works with Firefox 3.x and Firefox 4 (Beta) on Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7/2003/2008. Previous versions of Firefox are not supported.
