Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) final version (RTM) has been made available for download by Microsoft. One feature missing in IE9 is the spell checking, there is no option for real time spell checking in IE. Speckie is a nice freeware add-on for IE which brings in real time spell check. Speckie comes with dictionaries of many languages other than English, so that you can enable spell check for your language.
Speckie does not use much of time to load and does not delay the opening of IE9. Speckie gets its name from “Spell Check for IE” and is pretty useful for all IE9 users. Speckie is written in the C++ programming language. It uses the ATL library as recommended by Microsoft when creating add-ons for IE.
Speckie works on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) and requires Internet Explorer v6, 7, 8 or 9. It is available for both the 32 and 64 bit versions of Internet Explorer.
