Flash is one of the most important type of content used on websites to display animated contents, but the problem with Flash (SWF) is that it is not supported on all devices like iPad, iPhone etc. So the best way to display content on websites is through HTML5. Google Swiffy is a free online service which can convert Flash SWF files to HTML5, allowing you to reuse Flash content on devices without a Flash player (such as iPhones and iPads).
You can upload a SWF file, and Swiffy will produce an HTML5 version which will run in modern browsers with a high level of SVG support such as Chrome and Safari.
Swiffy uses a compact JSON representation of the animation, which is rendered using SVG and a bit of HTML5 and CSS3. This representation makes the Swiffy animations almost as compact as the original SWF files.
Please note that it is an early version, so it won’t convert all Flash content, but it already works well on ads and animations.
