VidCoder is a freeware application for Windows which is a DVD/Blu-ray ripping and video transcoding tool. It uses the HandBrake as its encoding engine, but with a better UI than the default UI of HandBrake for Windows. VidCoder comes with many handy functions and tools for ripping DVD and Blu-ray discs, but there are some limitations for this tool as well. VidCoder can rip DVDs but does not defeat the CSS encryption found in most commercial DVDs. When it comes to Blu-Ray discs, subtitles are not supported yet. Also, again, VidCoder does not defeat AACS or BD+ Blu-ray encryption.
