By default there is no option under Windows where you can list all the file names in a particular directory (including the sub folders) and this is pretty needed feature. Simple File Lister is a freeware tool for Windows which lists all the files in a folder. It does the function of DIR command in Windows. You can export the file list in .CSV, .TXT or .TSV formats. Apart from the file names, the app can also retrieve the file attributes. Simple File Lister provides a few-click operation with over 200+ file attributes to retrieve.
You can select the format and delimiter details from the output options, you can also add column headers to the file and ask the app to scan the subfolders as well. The operation is pretty quick and it retrieved the file list of more than 1000 files in pretty quick time when we tested.
