Social media is now becoming one of the most powerful ways to share content to your friends. We can see almost all websites have option to share content to popular networks like Twitter, Facebook, Google+ etc. The Mozilla team has released a new add-on for Firefox which allows you to quickly share contents to Twitter, Facebook and Gmail right inside the browser. Once installed, it adds a small icon in the address bar and you can share links by clicking the icon.
You need to authorize the app to use Twitter and Facebook and post them to your public timeline or your wall. If you had opened any tabs before you authorized the service to use the social networks, then you need to reload them.
The add-on is currently in alpha stage and is derived from the popular Mozilla F1 extension. Mozilla plans to integrate more networks into the add-on in future releases, so we can expect Google+ and other networks added in later releases. There is also plan to integrate multiple accounts of the same service in the coming versions.
