There are millions of images available on the web, but not all of them can be reused on your blogs and websites as they might be copyrighted. So in case you are planning to reuse an image, you need to search pictures published under the Creative Commons License. This means that you can easily search for pictures that you can re-publicize or share without breaking law or having to pay money. CCFinder is a freeware app for Windows which allows you to search for images with creative commons license.
The app has a simple UI where you can input the keywords for search and then select the image license type. You can filter the search criteria as well. Once the results are available, you can click on the image to download them, visit the original website or even set them as wallpaper.
CCFinder allows you to put a color filter on the picture to change it’s look. It shows you which license a picture is published with, how you may use it and what you need to keep in mind when doing so.
CCFinder is a very useful tool if you want to use multiple images from the web without any copyright violations.
