As expected, Microsoft has released the Windows 8 Release Preview. The Release preview is the similar version of release candidate for Windows 7. Initially the release preview was scheduled for June, but it was pushed earlier to May 31st. The first version of Windows 8, the Developers Preview was launched in September 2011 and the Consumer Preview in early February 2012. This Release Preview version of Windows 8 should have several improvements compared to the Consumer Preview.
There are many apps which are listed in the Windows Store and you can download and install them on Windows 8. Release Preview should be the last version of Windows 8 which Microsoft will be making it available to public for free download.
