FolderChangesView is a simple freeware tool for Windows which allows users to monitors any selected folder or a disk drive that you choose and lists every filename that is being modified, created, or deleted while the folder is being monitored. This is pretty useful to find if any of the files inside a folder or a drive is changed. You can use FolderChangesView with any local disk drive or with a remote network share, as long as you have read permission to the selected folder.
When you start the app, you will be asked to select the folder or drive to monitor and the app lists out all the files modified. This is also useful if you want to check if an app is making particular changes to a folder.
The app is very basic and does not provide an option to monitor more than one folder. Further there is no option to minimize the app to system tray and notify the user of any change.
FolderChangesView doesn’t require any installation process or additional dll files and is completely portable. In order to start using it, simply run the executable file – FolderChangesView.exe.
