Recently Instagram has completely turned off support for Twitter Cards which means users will not be able to view Instagram photos on Twitter.com interface or on mobile apps. Twitter Cards is one user centric option which allows publishers and third-party applications to display photos, video and article text inside of tweets, rather than only sharing links inside of tweets. Now that Instagram has stopped support for Twitter cards, photos are no longer appearing in Tweets or user photo galleries. While tweeting links to Instagram photos is still possible, you can no longer view the photos on Twitter, as was previously the case.
But you can still view Instagram photos on Twitter web interface using the extension for Google Chrome. InstaTwit is the easiest way to get Instagram photos back in your Twitter feed.
To get started, all you need to do is install the extension, and hit the refresh button on your Twitter window. Instagram photos will now show up as they did previously.
Using this extension, you can view all the Instagram photos shared on your Twitter timeline.
