With mobile phone cameras going big with several mega pixels and features, the size of photos taken have also increased considerably. Today most of the smartphones feature at a 8M mega pixel camera and the images run into several MBs in size. These photos look great when you transfer them to your computer, but not the best when you want to share them quickly over email or to social networking sites like Twitter or Facebook.
In such cases it is good to reduce the photo resolution before sharing them. Send Reduced is a freeware app for Android which lets you send reduced resolution photos by email with the minimum number of taps. You can select the resolution and image quality before sending them.
The option to reduce the resolution is available in the share options. Select the photo and then select Send Reduced option from the share button. You can set the default resolution and image quality from the app settings.
When you use the app function, it asks you to select the app where you want to use the reduced photo, like email or social networking apps. The app is pretty useful if the photos captured by your mobile camera is huge to send it via email.
