Twitter has grown tremendously since its first release back in 2006 and now one of the best social networking tools with millions of tweets posted every minute. Twitter has changed considerably in the past few years, introducing many new features and options. There are still many features missing in Twitter, like the ability to view people who unfollowed you and also the ability to download tweets.
But now Twitter is rolling out the feature to archive and download tweets for any user. This feature is just being rolled out for few users and not available for all. This option is available under settings in your Twitter profile.
You can request for downloading your tweets. Once the archive is complete, you can download it.
The downloaded archive has tweets arranged based on year and month and you can easily view them.
The option is pretty good for all users who would like to have a backup of your Tweets.
