Inductive charging (also known as “wireless charging”) uses an electromagnetic field to transfer energy between two objects. This is usually done with a charging station. Energy is sent through an inductive coupling to an electrical device, which can then use that energy to charge batteries or run the device. Today wireless charging is catching up as a hot accessory for your phone. Some of recent phones announced including the Nokia Lumia series (920, 820 and 720), Nexus 4 comes with wireless charging enabled.
