You might have added multiple accounts to your Android phone like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and other email accounts like Gmail, Hotmail etc. Now when you have enabled sync for all these accounts, you keep getting new notifications from these apps and this can be annoying as well as distracting when you are at work or at office. Android does not provide you with the option to selectively sync accounts based on rules.
Accounts Sync Profiler is a new freeware app for selectively syncing account based on rules. This app allows you to organize, by defining conditions, rules and profiles, the synchronization of the different accounts that you’ve configured on your Android device.
You can create multiple profiles and select the accounts which you want to sync in each profile. You can then set the rules for the sync. You can disable sync when the battery is below a certain amount or enable when you near a Wi-Fi network or even during a time range. There are quite a lot of options available in the app.
There is also option to disable notifications in selected accounts, but to disable notifications for apps in profiles you need Android 4.1.x (or higher) and a custom ROM based in AOSP.
There is also a paid version available which removes the ads and also adds ability to backup settings so that you can use it another phone. Overall, the app is very useful when you have multiple accounts configured on your phone and want to disable the sync.
