Notifications are very important aspect of mobile OS and both iOS and Android have a unique way of displaying notifications. While iOS has a different way of showing the notification on screen instead of just the notification area. On iOS, whenever there is a new notification, the screen lights up and that the notification can be displayed on the lock screen. Now if you wanted this type of notification on your Android phone, here is an awesome app which does that.
Notify Me is a freeware app which lets you create a list of apps that are allowed to light the screen up and show their notifications on it as a popup in front of your lock screen. You can select the apps from the list of installed app which can display the notification which is again an added feature.
Once installed, you need to provide the app with permission in the Accessibility Service. Once this is done, you can add applications which can show the notifications. You may restrict the creation of the notification popups per app and decide to only show notifications that contain keywords of your choice.
You can also select whether you want to show pop ups and allow expansion of the pop-ups when they appear. The app replicates the functionality in an excellent way and you get the feeling that it is even better than iOS.
With this app, you get instant screen notifications from your favorite apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter etc. The app is compatible with most of the Android versions from Froyo and above.
