MetroTwit for Windows 8 was released almost a year back, even before the official release of Windows 8 and has been one of the best Twitter apps. Although Twitter released its official app for Windows 8, it did not have all the features. Now, MetroTwit has got a major upgrade with a new design and features.
The new version of MetroTwit has a revamped design, but we feel the the original design was better although the new one is more of metro UI. It still retains the basic multicolumn look and feel of the original MetroTwit. It also adds support for previewing inline pictures along with a number of other bug fixes.
In case you want to managing multiple Twitter accounts from MetroTwit, you will still requires an in-app upgrade to MetroTwit Pro. You can add multiple columns for your timeline, messages and mentions.
