Moto X is the smartphone from Motorola and is supposed to be the flagship phone of the company. The phone is supposed to be announced in few days time, but even before the official announcement, almost every other details about the phone is leaked on the Internet including phone images in white and black colors. Moto X is the first collaborative product of Google and Motorola since Google acquired Motorola Mobility. Now, we have another leak from the phone, the camera application which is now available for download and you can install on any Android phone.
The apk file of the camera app has been leaked on the Internet and you can download and install the app and try out the features in the camera. We tested the app on Galaxy Nexus running Android 4.2.2 and here are some screenshots of the camera app.
The main interface allows you to access the front camera and also start the video recording. You can touch and hold to take multiple captures. the settings menu can be accessed from the left side by swiping and you can view the gallery by swiping the right side. The setting menu has options for HDR, Flash, touch to focus, Slow motion, Panaroma and quick capture.
Using quick capture, you can twist the wrist twice, quickly to launch the camera app. Some of the features like HDR and Slow motion did not work on Galaxy Nexus, but normal shooting works fine.
Here is a quick video demo of the app;
