MEGA, the cloud storage service launched by Kim Dotcom has launched its official iPhone app for the service. MEGA is a secure cloud storage service that gives you 50GB of secure storage for free. Everything you upload to MEGA is completely encrypted, and the keys stay with you. Earlier we had covered about the official Android app to access the files from your Android phone, but now the official app for iPhone is out.
From the app interface you can access all your files and folders which are available on your account and also upload files from your phone. Inside the app you can upgrade your storage space & bandwidth quota by subscribing to MEGA Pro with a monthly or yearly subscription.
The app also has the option to make files offline, so that even if you do not have an internet connection, you will be able to access the files on your phone.
The app also has options to open the files like PDF, documents and presentations using the Open with menu in iOS. You can also easily share any folder on your MEGA using the share option available. As of now there is no auto upload photos from camera roll to MEGA, but we expect it to come soon.
The app is free of cost to download and if you are using MEGA then this is worth the install.
