As you see from the specs comparison sheet, LG G3 excels in two main areas, one is the Quad HD display on the device which has a resolution of 2560×1440 with 534 pixels per inch which is highest when compared to the competition (although we need to wait and see how the display performs). LG G3 is also the first device is come with a laser auto focus. But what is missing on LG G3 is the dust and water resistance certification.
LG G2 had a good camera with OIS, so we expect the G3 also to have a great camera. Samsung Galaxy S5 has already proved that it has a good camera, while HTC One M8’s camera failed in many aspects even though it came with dual rear camera. Sony Xperia Z2 and G3 have 3GB RAM while the other two have 2GB RAM. Samsung is using its Exynos Octa core processor in many countries where there is no 4G LTE connectivity.
While the price of Samsung has come down drastically in India, now selling for INR 39000 ($660 approx.), it is the cheapest phone available out of the lot. We need to wait and see for the reviews of LG G3 to decide whether it can beat other flagships out there. So what is your take? Which one do you think is the best Android flagship of 2014?
