It has been raining selfie smartphones of late and now Micromax has jumped the bandwagon with the launch of Canvas Selfie, the company’s first selfie focused smartphone. The phone comes with a massive 13MP front camera with flash for selfies and video calls. The phone also comes with a 4.7 inch HD display and is powered by the 1.7Ghz Octa Core MediaTek processor with 2GB RAM. The device also comes with 16GB internal storage which is expandable to 32GB via microSD card.
The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and also features 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash.
The only other device which comes with 13MP front camera is the HTC Desire Eye. The front camera on Canvas Selfie also has auto focus and flash. Mr. Vineet Taneja, CEO, Micromax launched the phone with the IPTL stars Sania Mirza, Ana Ivanovic, Kristina Mladenovic and Daniela Hantuchova. The phone also packs a 2300mAh battery.

Price and availability:
The pricing of the dveice is not announced now and will be available closer to the launch. We expect the pricing to be close to Rs 15000 when it launches. The device comes in Mystic Blue and Angelic White colors and would be available across India in the second week of January.
