Xiaomi had announced the Redmi Note in India in November 2014 and it went on sale on December 2nd and was exclusive to Flipkart like Redmi 1S and Mi3. At the announcement of Redmi Note 3G, the company also announced a 4G LTE variant of Redmi Note with similar specs. The Redmi Note 4G comes with 1.6Ghz Snapdragon 400 processor with 2GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat.
Few days back Delhi High court placed a ban on sales of Xiaomi devices in India based on a petition by Ericsson infringing their patents. But the company was allowed to sell Snapdragon chipset powered devices. The company started the sales of Redmi 1S and now they are launching the 4G LTE enabled Redmi Note.
