At the start of CES 2015, Lenovo announced the refreshed Thinkpad Carbon X1 Ultrabook which comes with 10.9 hours of battery life and a variety of connectivity options like 4G LTE. Now Dell has announced their new XPS 13 ultrabook which has a stunning edge-to-edge design. The biggest change for the XPS 13 has been the design and quality which is now the the smallest 13-inch laptop in the world with a virtually borderless infinity display
The XPS 13, with Windows 8.1, is designed to be the best-performing notebook of its size, featuring the longest battery life of a 13-inch notebook with up to 15 hours of run time on a single charge. Yes, you read it right, 15 hours of battery life on a Windows laptop!
The laptop is also offering an optional UltraSharp Quad HD+ infinity display, with 5.2mm bezels which boasts an incredible 5.7 million pixels, so movies and presentations burst with eye-popping color and precise detail. It is powered by the new and 5th Generation Intel Core processors and solid state drives which provide performance and responsiveness. And all these innovation comes at a extremely light form factor starts at a mere 2.6 pounds (1.17kg).
The body is made of aluminium and carbon fiber making it light weight. The laptop comes in touch and non touch versions running Windows 8.1.
