At the CES 2015, Lenovo had announced a new budget smartphone A6000, which was specifically made for Indian market. Lenovo wants to compete with the likes of Yu YUREKA and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G (Review). Lenovo A6000 comes with 5 inch HD IPS Display (1280 X 20P) and is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU.
The phone has 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage which is expandable via micro SD card. On the imaging front the device sports a 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. It supports 4G LTE in India.

The phone has dual SIM card support and comes with Android 4.4 KitKat and has the custom Vibe UI 2.0 which we saw on the Lenovo Vibe X2. Looking at the specs and comparing it with Redmi Note 4G and YUREKA, you can see that A6000 has lower specs especially the RAM and camera. This is the cheapest 4G LTE enabled smartphone in India.

The smartphone goes up for registrations on Flipkart at 6pm IST on Friday, and will go on sale at 2pm IST on January 28. Registrations close at 6pm IST on January 27.
