HTC has been launching quite a lot of new devices in India and their latest entrant is a budget phone Desire 526G+. The budget segment is one of the highest selling segments in India and clearly HTC is planning to make an impression here with the new device. The HTC Desire 526G+ features a 4.7 inch qHD display (960 X 540 pixels resolution) and it is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core processor with 1GB RAM. The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense UI.
On the imaging front, the device has a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. The phone comes in two storage options, 8GB and 16GB.
There is also support for microSD card. The phone comes with dual SIM card support and has a 2000mAh battery. There is no mention on whether this device would get the Lollipop update in future. Connectivity options on the Desire 526G+ Dual SIM include 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and FM radio.

HTC Desire 526G+ is priced at Rs. 10,400 for the 8GB variant and Rs. 11,400 for 16GB variant. The 8GB variant will be exclusively available on Snapdeal, while the 16GB variant will be available from major retailers across the country. Both variants will be available to purchase from the last week of January.
